My kids love Gotham City Swim. The coaches provide personal attention to each child and help improve their technique. It's a no-pressure environment to learn and improve. Highly recommended!!!

I can easily say my 5 years old learned how to swim thanks to Gotham City swim and particularly Matt who has been the nicest and efficient instructor.

We've been to a few swim Schools with our 7yo. He didn't make much progress until he started taking lessons with Alex who made him not only feel comfortable but have so much fun learning how to swim.

The instructor we have ((Matt)) is great. Although we haven’t had any other instructor so far, from what I’ve seen from the other ones they all seem to be great!. Miles, the guy that runs Gotham Swim, is very flexible, nice and accommodating. Glad to have found Gotham Swim, it’s going great for my two, beginner, daughters.

We tried a couple different swim schools before but Gotham city swim is by far the best swim school in the city. They are incredibly supportive and flexible! My 6 years old son and 3 years old daughter love swimming with coach Matt. He is compassionate and kind, and knows exactly how to teach and motivate kids! I am truly impressed how much they improved. If you want your kids to learn to swim, this is the place to go!

Awesome swim school! My kids have been swimming with their instructors for a while now and we are very happy. From beginner to now the swim team, they adapt their teaching to their students needs.

This was my very first swim lesson. My instructor was very calm and patient with me. He helped me get over my fear and actually gave me confidence that I can do it . They are awesome ! Highly recommend them.

Excellent personal attention and care so that your kid gets better faster. Miles has a lot of experience in teaching kids and makes sure all his instructors are top notch.

Both of my boys swim with Gotham - we had previously tried other programs but after coming to Gotham we will never go anywhere else. Lessons are tailored to your child’s ability and changes as they progress. All of the instructors are amazing and especially with my youngest they made sure they found the right fit so my son is excited to have his lesson.

My son has enjoyed his swimming lessons with Gotham City Swim. His coach, Matt, is very kind and compassionate, yet firm in his efforts to push my son to improve his swimming skills. When we started with Matt, my son would rarely kick his legs, and he used doggy style to keep afloat. Now, he kicks his legs, and he uses big arms to swim through the water. His swimming skills have improved dramatically with Matt only after a few lessons. We look forward to continuing our patronage of Gotham City Swim.

Finally, something works! We have tried several sessions of YMCA group lessons, but we had no progress. We went with small group sessions with Gotham. They were very intentional about assessing needs and assigning to groups based on needs and offering a lot of individual instruction to work on skills. My 7 year old son went from being afraid to put his face underwater to swimming, unassisted, from side to side of the pool back within 6 weeks when having 2 lessons per week. It is not the cheapest swim school around, but you get what you pay for and that makes this an incredible value. Great instructors, great leadership and great results.

The best swim instruction in NYC. Our daughter has become an incredibly stronger swimmer at the age of 6 thanks to Rick at Gotham City Swim. They have a very talented and dedicated group of instructors who work very hard to get kids swimming- and swimming well.

My kids are impeccable swimmers after swimming with the coaches at Gotham… it’s the best program out there for all levels and you’d be lucky to have them teach your kids!

My daughter has been taking swim lessons with the Gotham City Swim instructors for a few years now, first learning to swim and now that's she's on a swim team she works with them on refining her strokes. They are wonderful, always kind and focused and they keep the kids motivated. We hardly ever hear tears around the pool deck or locker room so that must mean they are good at calming nervous little swimmers too!

My toddler (2yrs) and I (adult) took swim lessons this summer with Coach Rick. He was wonderful and patient with my toddler who wasn’t always cooperative. Rick always had a different approach ready for my son to help get him more comfortable in the water. I also took adult lessons with Rick, within the first two lessons I already saw a great improvement. He was attentive and great to work with, was immediately able to identify my swim issues and provided the correct drills. I would recommend Coach Rick for all your swim improvement needs!
